The Dragon Attacks the Castle
Toy Town was usually a peaceful place. The market square was lively, the clock ticked in the town hall, and the residents waved cheerfully to one another as they passed the colorful houses. But that morning, everything felt different — as if the city sensed that something very important was about to happen.
Princess Diana received a letter from her father, King Arthur. It wasn’t long, but every word made her heart beat faster. The castle was in danger. A black dragon had attacked the kingdom, destroying houses and breathing fire along the castle walls. The King was asking for help — as quickly as possible.
– I must go – Diana whispered, pressing the letter to her heart. – I can’t let the castle fall.
Without wasting a moment, she ran to the town hall, where Mayor Teddy was working.

Mayor Teddy’s office was neat and orderly. The bear was sitting at his desk when Diana entered.
– Diana? What happened? – he asked with concern.
The Princess placed the letter on the desk.
– My father sent a message from the castle. A dragon is attacking! It’s destroying everything and setting houses on fire. They need my help…
Mayor Teddy read the letter carefully. It was clear the situation was serious. He was shocked when he heard that a dragon attacks the castle.
– I wish I could give you a simple answer – he said at last. – But this is a harder problem than anything Toy Town has faced before.
– So… you don’t know what to do? – Diana asked quietly.
Mayor Teddy shook his head.
– Not yet. But in Toy Town, we never give up. We always find a solution.
The news spread quickly throughout the city. Just then, Diana’s phone rang. Everyone in Toy Town soon hears the news that a dragon attacks the castle and the kingdom is in danger.
A Rope and a Plan
It was Firefighter Thomas.
– I heard the castle is in trouble – he said. – And I think I can help.
– Thomas, please… tell me what you have in mind – Diana replied.
– I have a rope left over from building a raft for the penguins. We can use it to catch the dragon and tie him up.
Diana immediately felt hopeful. Everyone in Toy Town knew that when a dragon attacks the castle, the whole kingdom must act quickly.
– That’s a great idea! – she said. Then she grew serious. – But… the dragon is huge. Who will be strong enough to hold him?
The answer came that very evening.
Dante the Strong
Dante — the strongest toy in Toy Town — called.
– I heard you need help – he said. – If strength is needed, I’m ready.
Diana felt relieved.
– Thank you, Dante. You’re exactly who we need.
– I don’t know yet what I’ll have to do – Dante admitted. – But I’ll come.
That’s when Diana formed a plan.
– Dante… you’ll be the one who catches the dragon with the rope – she said. – You’ll pull him down to the ground.
– If that’s what needs to be done, then I’ll do it – Dante replied without hesitation.
The next day, they met at the town hall and went together to the fire station to get the rope.
On the Way to the Fire Station
Dante picked up Princess Diana in his car.
– Hi, Dante. Thank you for agreeing to help – she said.
– No problem. In Toy Town, we always help each other – he replied calmly.
They arrived at the firefighters’ training ground. The firefighters were practicing, and Firefighter Thomas was standing at the top of the tower, overseeing everything. When he saw Diana and Dante, he quickly rode the elevator down.

– I’m glad you’re here – he said, handing them the rope. – It’s strong. It can handle a lot.
Dante tested it in his hands.
– Good. This will be useful.
– I’m coming with you – Thomas added, heading toward his fire truck. – If the dragon breathes fire, someone has to put it out.
And so the rescue team was formed: Princess Diana, Dante the Strong, and Firefighter Thomas. They set off for Fairy Valley, where King Arthur’s castle awaited.
Fire in White Orchard
On the way, they passed through the village of White Orchard, where Diana’s friend — Berta the Cow — lived. Diana looked out the car window… and immediately saw smoke. A black dragon was circling above the village, breathing fire.

– Fire! – Diana shouted.
The village was in chaos. The residents were running and calling for help.
– Quickly! – Thomas shouted. – Put out everything you can!
Saving Berta
Dante looked around and noticed someone lying beneath a tree. It was Berta. A heavy tree trunk had fallen on her, trapping her so she couldn’t move.
– Berta! Hold on! – Dante shouted.
– I was scared… I couldn’t move… – Berta whispered.
Dante slid his hands under the trunk and lifted it with all his strength. Berta was free.
– It’s okay now. You’re safe – he said.
Meanwhile, Thomas put out the remaining flames. The village was saved. The residents applauded, but Diana knew they couldn’t stop.
– We have to go. My father needs us – she said firmly.
They said goodbye and continued their journey.
The Castle in Flames
When they reached the castle, the sight was terrifying. The walls were burning, and the dragon was circling above them, breathing fire.

Thomas immediately began extinguishing the flames, until the fire finally started to fade. The residents cheered, and King Arthur ran toward Diana.
– Diana… you came – he said with relief.
– Yes. And we have a plan – she replied firmly.
Diana introduced Thomas and Dante. Hope appeared on the King’s face.
– We must act quickly – he said. – The dragon will return.
The Rope Is Too Short
Dante and Thomas prepared the rope and waited. Soon, the dragon returned. Dante threw the rope, but missed — the dragon was flying too high. He tried again and failed once more. The dragon circled the castle and disappeared.
Silence fell.
– I can’t throw it that high… – Dante admitted. – It’s too far.
Then someone stepped forward. It was Jumper.
– The next time the dragon comes back… I’ll jump with the rope – he said bravely. – I’ll throw it from above, and Dante will pull the dragon down.
– That might work… – Diana whispered.
Dante nodded.
– If you throw the rope… I’ll pull.
They decided to try again the next day.
The Trap Works
The next morning, the dragon returned, roaring and breathing fire. Jumper was ready.
– Now! – Diana shouted.
Jumper ran and leapt high into the air. At the perfect moment, he threw the rope.
This time… it worked. The rope landed on the dragon.
– I’ve got him! – Dante shouted.
Dante pulled with all his strength. The dragon was dragged to the ground, and the knights quickly tied him up. The castle was safe. The residents of the kingdom cheered, and Diana could finally breathe.
– We did it… we stopped the dragon – she whispered.
A Different Kind of Victory
As everyone celebrated, Diana walked through one of the castle halls and noticed something unusual. An egg. A large, mysterious egg.
– It’s… a dragon egg – she whispered. – That’s what he was looking for.
She gently picked it up and ran to the courtyard. When the dragon saw the egg, something unexpected happened. The dragon began to cry. Tears rolled down his face, and the terrifying roar faded away.
– It’s yours, isn’t it? – Diana asked softly.
Then she turned to her father.
– Father… the dragon was only trying to get his egg back.
King Arthur hesitated, then nodded.
– Give him the egg. Let him go.

Dante carefully loosened the rope. Diana handed the egg to the dragon. The dragon hugged it close, spread his wings, and flew away — no longer angry, but relieved. Peace returned to the castle.
A Royal Reward
It was time to return to Toy Town. Diana stood beside her father.
– Goodbye, Father – she said.
– Goodbye, Diana. Thank you. You saved us – King Arthur replied.
Then he turned to Dante and Firefighter Thomas.
– For your bravery and heroism, I grant you the title of knights of my kingdom! – he announced.
The residents cheered, and Dante and Thomas stood proudly. From that day on, the dragon never attacked the castle again. Instead, he sometimes returned to guard it — as a thank-you for the return of his dragon egg.
